Sir I've scored 92/85/63 in LS/LR/QA. Is there a chance I could get NMIMS Banglore or Navi Mumbai since I might not clear the sectional cutoff required for NMIMS Mumbai.

Hi Sakshi, I do not see any reason why u wud not get a call from NaviMumbai or from Bangalore. Last year with easier paper the cutoff of QA was 63 . U have exactly the same mark. Don’t know your profile. That cud pull u in or push u out now. Your score seems pretty good for this year. My best wishes & blessings for doing well in CAT and other exams.

Hi, Thanks for writing to me. You have a typical profile of a student who gets thru a top Bschool but unfortunately your NMAT score is not good enough. U can retake but most importantly focus on CAT . We will talk after that as CAT is close. One thing I can say very confidently that if u prepare well for interviews, no body can stop u from getting thru a top college. Focus on written test and get a call, rest will be taken care of . Dear Mansi, 200 although decent score is not enough for the top ones through NMAT. So it depends on your objective whether u have to join this year only or u taking another attempt. I am sure u have SNAP , XAT and CMAT left. In case u r in Patna then u can come down to my centre to discuss, otherwise u can always whatsapp me on my number and we can discuss.

I won’t recommend SOIL . If possible, focus on XAT & CMAT and think about next CAT later on . U can still fight and get in to a good college.

Dear Aquib, Obviously your overall score is very good for this time. My understanding is that quants cutoff is going to be lower and it may come down to 65 levels. Your score suggests that u r a good student , so keep your faith and confidence high and do well in CAT. All the best.

I think u will get good colleges Devansh. If your profile is ok ok also then u may get xim b, tapmi manipal, kj Somaiyaa, 50% chance of Great Lakes. Mind u xim b has reservations for odiya students, so they select workex students more from outside the state but freshers too get thru. Hope this helps.

After CAT, prepare aggressively for interviews. Your percentages r quite acceptable to Bschools we discussed and a lot will now depend on your ability to convince them of your suitability for their program.
