i think AlatheaAnarchy is wondering why hayley is held on a pedestal higher above other female artists. what makes her so much more significant? nothing really. i think this elevation of hayley's status comes solely from her clean/attractive appearance and the band's poppy/mainstream music. look at all the paramore videos. all the comments are "OOOOOH SHES SO PRETTY" or something along that basis. sure you might say her lyrics are meaningful, but you could easily say the same about eisley

The reason why people think Hayley and Paramore are so amazing, I believe, is just because there is just something about them. That sounds like such a flimsy and whimsical thing to say, I know it does - "there is just something about them" but you just know when people have star quality. And these guys do. Seeing them on stage, they take your breath away. It's not suprising that they are getting bigger and bigger. They are my inspiration. x

they didn't really wanna be doing the UK tour; i feel lucky that they still did & i managed to see them at brixton. i feel sorry for these guys, there's so much demand for shows around the world, and it's hard to just say no & step back. i'm not surprised they seem strained. they need a break tbh,& they should take one. hopefully they'll be themselves by the time of give it a name tho (:

or flyleaf or evanescence. all write beautiful, down to earth lyrics. why is paramore/hayley better? because hayley isnt part of an underground, indie band like eisley. because hayley doesnt brutally scream like lacey of flyleaf. because hayley's face isnt painted ghostly white like amy lee. do you see what i mean? i believe that this fascination with hayley ultimately comes from not her "down to earth nature", but rather hers/paramores superficial aspects (looks, poppy aspects).
