It is interesting that some Stray kids’ hater became Nmixx haters too. They think that comparison with Stray kids is the biggest insult so they use it. But actually Stays, some of us, were first people to say than there are some similar vibes between Nmixx and SKZ. It is not even about music, it is about passion. I feel this love for music and strong desire to improve their craft. The same I felt with young Stray kids when I started to stan them. There are a lot of talented idols, very hard working ones, but I do not see the same “hunger” in them. It is hard to be passionate when your comebacks receive mixed reviews while you are constantly overworked and tired. In the world where many groups start very strong, it is hard for fans to watch their fave group to be less hyped and popular. Many leave the fandom, because they do not want to be part of black ship fandom. K-pop fans have often are very harsh toward “no so soon successful” groups from big companies and make fun of them. But sometimes late bloomers became stronger than the groups that started with big hits and tons of hype. People were saying that Stray kids will never be really popular, that they already peaked, but God’s menu changed everything. Nmixx has talent, charisma and passion. It is very important in the long run, and it is very good for gaining loyal fanbase. I hope one day Nmixx will get their own break through song that helps them reach their full potential.

Im convinced that red light sign is going to have an extended version with a dance break. The arrangement on the end just makes it seem like it should be extended.

i agree with your sentiments a lot. i was actually kind of a hater of nmixx when they debuted with O.O. it lasted for a week or more i think. i thought they were just copying aespa because of the “mixxpop” genre, but executed it messy. then i understood it’s not really the girls’ fault what the producers did since they were just starting and don’t really have a say in those things. i am a big vocals fan so i noticed how talented they are while watching their vocal performances, and eventually their music grew on me. that’s why there’s a part of me too that thinks nmixx will hit it big even if not today, but in the future... that maybe some haters today will eventually like them too. if they don’t, then that’s their loss for missing out on one of the most unique and talented groups that ever existed in the industry. tmi i am also from the philippines and attended nmixx’s first tour here in manila, and i agree that it felt so good to know that there are other people that enjoy nmixx as much as i do? i have friends who also like nmixx, but they are only few compared to other groups like blackpink or twice that everyone likes. you know? i kinda feel like a black sheep myself for liking nmixx more than other groups because they think nmixx only releases bad music which only equates to them not exploring their discography because of implicit biases. i have this personal inside joke that nmixx only has 10 fans here in the philippines because that’s how it feels with everybody around us hating on the girls. i agree it was so nice to see that there’s a community that sees nmixx for their artistry the way that i see them. that these people who watched their concert actually like them for who they are and what they make, and not just because people are jumping on the bandwagon because the group is popular. i think stanning underrated artists is really organic because there’s no one pressuring people to like them, but they still do because it is genuine. i know i’m just a fan like you, but on behalf of the girls, thanks for liking nmixx genuinely and speaking your truth! after a decade of being a kpop fan, i found peace with nmixx being my ultimate bias girl group alongside aespa so i go out of my way to support them. sorry if this is too long, i just adore nmixx a lot too i have a lot to say hahaha edit: i understand your thoughts on love is lonely hahaha the acapella medley really set an expectation. it sounded different to the actual song, but after a few listens it’s my favorite song on the album now. maybe it will grow on you too

There's no "fault" to be had, either on the girls or the writers/producers of O.O cause a lot of people like the song lmao. I don't know if you still dislike the song, that's up to you. But so many people say it's a bad song or messy or whatever and they state it like a fact. It's not a fact that the song is bad. No one is at "fault" because nothing was wrong and no mistake was made. It was a very intentional song with a purpose. I fell in love with NMIXX at O.O and Dice because they were so unique (to me) and genuinely really amazing.
@littlemsjaney4 ай бұрын
@@BocUnboxing with nmixx, you really don’t know what to expect hahaha i think if nswers show the demand for the acapella versions, they might release it on their first full album. i think it is also possible to have an acapella version in the next tour. if i remember it clearly, they did an its Live/band version of the songs during their encore in nice to mixx you tour. let’s hope they decide to do an acapella encore, or add an acapella set in the middle of the show.
@littlemsjaney4 ай бұрын
@@GmmBeast idk why I feel you’re attacking me because I don’t dislike O.O anymore. i wouldn’t be a big fan if i hated atleast one of their songs (atleast that’s not how I claim to be a fan of something). it was something that i felt only at the beginning and it’s mostly because of an implicit bias caused by everyone hating on the song, and as an aespa fan, i thought that they were only copying the mixing of genres concept. if you know aespa’s discography, they have the similar style of having experimental songs so this is not new to me and is something that i actually enjoy. as an sm stan who listens to a lot of experimental music, i started to appreciate nmixx for doing the same, but having their own style and take on it. what i meant that it’s not the girls’ fault for releasing O.O, considering the response and hate the girls received when it was the producers’ decision to release this because they have a specific intention and direction they are aiming for nmixx. i don’t think it’s a bad song, but i also don’t crucify people for not liking it because the song can be too much for some people. some don’t have the capacity to appreciate such complex songs and just want an easy listening song, and i see some saying the song’s actually nice if they split it into two to which they actually did at some point (the baila and superhero ver). i do agree that there are people stating it’s a bad song like it is a fact. it’s okay for me if it’s not their music taste, but to say it is a completely bad song and generalizing the whole nmixx discography because of one song is a no-no for me. trust me, i defend nmixx with my life against those who shit on their music. also, i became a casual listener during O.O and DICE era, but i gradually fell in love with them because of the talent, professionalism and artistry they have, so the music they create is something that i will genuinely appreciate because it reflects their efforts and passion towards their craft.
