NMNM24: Julia Simon, Female Athlete of the Championships

Julia Simon ended a marvellous edition of the BMW IBU World Championships of Nove Mesto na Morave with another success, as fans voted for her as Female Athlete of the Championships. The reigning Total Score winner became the most decorated French woman at the World Championships thanks to 4 gold medals in Czechia, including a splendid sprint-pursuit double.

She is the best. 💥Humble, hardworking and very persistent, even after a difficult summer and away from the group. She is very good at running analysis and is one of the athletes who always have a kind word for other competitors. 🙏 A true role model for many athletes in general. Of course she won that poll. Was there really a more suitable choice?? Together with the French team she dominated these World Champs; her two individual gold medals along with the two from the relays and the bronze says it all. This title is more than deserved.
