Hug your friends and tell them you love them. We often forget that Death comes for us all and Time is a bear mauling a fawn. Our friends without the entitlement of family or responsibility of some kind, choose to stay with us through these unprecedented moments in our lives to love and support us. My best friend killed himself a couple years back and I sometimes have these dreams where nothing is really happening and we're shoulder to shoulder, sitting by the river, watching the water flow. Like a snapshot of a memory I stored away for safe keeping. I can feel the warmth of his shoulder on mine and from the corner of my eye I can see that he's smiling and giggling to himself like he always did. When I turned to embrace him in my arms and tell him all the things I wanted to say and things I should've said when I could've. How much we all miss him, and love him, and how we all honor his memory, and how sorry I am for letting him down. I wake up sobbing most times, but it's just a dream as emphatic as it might be. I sometimes go back to that river, to watch the water flow. Hoping that he'll be there when I return, but he never will.

I lost my best friend to suicide earlier this year. There's so much that we regret doing or not doing in retrospect, but it's all too late now. The only thing I can do now is to make sure I never have such huge regrets again with any other friend so that they know how much I love and appreciate them at any moment. Thanks for your comment; it had a sad serenity to it, for me. While we may never be able to make up for what was lost, I hope we are able to build ourselves and our relationships up stronger than ever in the future.

Nmplol was originally a big WoW streamer for over 10+ years, and in that time dated a Norweigan beauty named Malena, they went through many highs and lows, Nick did irl streams and video games but the irl ones you see here are a more recent format.
