(12×5)+(1×5)+(14) - Formula is C5H5N 12 is Carbon, 1 is H, an 14 is N

A sharp peak at 1600 simply indicates a benzene ring. That's where there is a strong stretch of conjugated C=C bonds. Does that answer your question?

here's a correction, he just confuses between ortho and meta position, C carbon adjacent to N is ortho one🤘🏻
