Shops are closed because its Easter... Suva is usually busy around 2-6pm and at night and on a working day ofcourse

Well, Fiji is a relatively big country in Oceania. Not as big as New Zealand but they are way way bigger than Tonga, Samoa and Palau. The only bigger countries than Fiji, not named Australia and New Zealand, are the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu.

Aaron Lawford We do have a smaller airport nearby 25 mins drive. There are connecting flights to the main aiport, also 3 international flights - Auckland, Sydney and Tonga.
