Narada! Master musician who exemplifies the personification of love as the fundamental power in music. Changed my life twice! Eternally grateful! Jimmy Smith's Sermon reaches young Narada, who takes it sends that love back to the world. This story mirrors the exact effect Narada had on me! Listen to Jimmy Smith preaching love!!! You are a force of nature Narada!!!

Mr. Walden, thank you, thank you, thank you for your commitment to the spirit of music, your infectious positive energy, your wisdom, and for your willingness to share it with others, both through your musicianship and through this channel. There's not enough room in this comment section to describe the effect you've had on my appreciation and understanding of music and what greatness means and what greatness is. I'm just *starting* to get it now!

Forgive me Mr. Narada, but I grew up too with Art Blakey and I know the tune you are referring to, The Sermon, and perhaps we are hearing different things, but to me Art plays a swing feel followed by a tamed shuffle, no rock N' roll there.

House parties of my parents and their friends all dressed up at my house as a kid my job was to flip the records. Detroit in the 60.s home full of immigrants Dominicans Cubans and Puerto Ricans in a white neighborhood they could hear us and smell the food down the block. Thanks for your memories.. it’s my turn now I play the same scratched records. Amen
