well that is like real life.. sombody got to do the first step... wait this ist real life ... right? year it is sad that it is like that if i see street perofmances i am like instantly stopping to watch them and depending on what they are doing i am even joining.. at first it felt wierd because i was think to much about what all the other poeple would think about me in that moment.. but for real... how tf cares.. i imagined to bee on the sidlines and just watching while sombody else would join and i thought.. well i dont think bad of him he is having fun and thats what i am doing know... i dont know why the f i had the need to write such a long as... comment but here we go greetings even if your comment was a year ago ^^

Most people are just like sheep. If one sheep falls off a cliff, many others will fallow him. So if a street performer wants spectators putting money in the hat, he needs 10 friends to go with him and do that and others will do it too.

This was one of the first videos I remember seeing, and I wondered, "Who is this masked man?" You guys opened a world to me I really didn't know existed. I've always loved dance. I wanted to study it after high school, but my parents thought it would be too gay a thing to study, and then volunteered NOT to pay for my 'higher education. Fooled them. I turned (was, just didn't know it at the time) out gay anyway without the help of studying dance. It was the early 60s then, views were very different. In 1961 the movie "West Side Story" really 'upped' my desire to be a dancer, and I probably saw the movie 20 times, (I'm anxious to see the coming 2020 version this Fall) but my dancing dreams were only that. A dream, nothing more. My sister and II went to try out for background extras/dancers when the roadshow production of the Broadway musical of WSS was coming to Seattle. It was during the summer break between my end of high school and beginning of college in 1962. My sister was 2 years younger than me. Jajaja, though we could do the twist, the mashed potatoes and other dances of the time, we weren't even good enough the be background dancers even if they stuck us in the background outside the theater! After I was 21 in 1965, my dancing was confined to doing so in gay bars. Around 1980, my partner of 7 years and I did take adult tap dance classes (which also had some 13 or 14 year old kid students who tap danced circles around us adults!). When the 'recital' grew near I decided to drop out, something about performing in front of strangers. I'd never be a good extra/backup dancer.

Great dancing. Very graceful and playful. Wonderful stuff. Most dancers are TOO SERIOUS! It should be light hearted and fun more often. Not always, mind you but a lot of the time. Wasn't the pavement cold on your feet? I see people wearing clothing indicating a temperature of about 15. That makes concrete quite cold! But the fact that you use bare feet is fantastic as it gives you a lower center of gravity, less weight on your feet and a connection to the ground impossible with shoes. A very wise choice! We can't let conventional people hold us back!
