For all the clowns in the comments talking rubbish; I’m sure your own villages are still bushes. Japan and wherever else you goats think we must be like, were not built in a day. In those developed cities of the world the government modernised them and it took them hundreds of years. In our case: in less than 10 decades since independence from colonisers who looted us and thought our leaders how to loot, Nnewi sons and daughters have managed to build 90% of what you see in this video and they deserve credit! Nigeria as a whole will take hundreds of years to catch up unless some miracle occurs and a really great leader takes power and fast track the development of the country.

In which country state or town has their billionaires been responsible for constructing all their roads? Na wa for you illiterates. Was Rome built in a day? You watch small foreign movies and decide we can’t get any credit because we aren’t not like them? They colonised us and stole our money then taught our leaders that it’s ok to loot. Lagos and co were capitals of Nigeria and had government investments since colonial time. Everything you see in this video was built by indigenous Nnewi people with hard earned money. The problem with Nnewi is familiar to the problems facing Igbo cities in Nigeria which is lack of urban planning, very poor network of roads, lack of drainage system, Nnewi citizens travels to all corners of this World and they saw how roads and streets are been constructed but they can't emulate what they met outside and put it in place back home, it baffles me that Igbos are acting that way, even the governors that schooled and lived at Overseas before becoming governors, look at Awka the Anambra State Capital, it's a shame of a Capital, for 21 years as Capital, Eke Awka are yet to be built. These days Anambra State is just producing NOICE MAKERS and thieves as Governors. When they're outside, they will be very articulated, meaningful, calculative and wise but as soon as they are sworn in they become clueless, stupid, foolish, even wicked and negative towards every meaningful developmental projects, is there any curse on whoever should be governor at Awka??

@@D.sparkles what he said is nothing but the truth. More than anything, Nnewi needs road infrastructure in other to look like a modern city. Apart from that, we need to pay attention to town planning and orderliness while building houses. Imagine how much more beautiful Nnewi would have been if the houses were arranged in a grid-like fashion? Even as we are waiting for when dualised and modern roads will come, our cities, towns and villages would have looked much better if houses were not built haphazardly, and without recourse to orderliness. This is a common problem in Igbo land. We are trying as individuals but our governments are failing us.
