@@OZ1DK I just went under contract for a 2023 Isla 40 which replaces the Lucia and bare bones is about $381k but it's not really sea worthy at that price.. To get all the comforts you want you're looking at about $490k USD > $650k USD depending what all you add on to it.
@OZ1DK2 жыл бұрын
@@launchfiend I probably go for Isla 40 too. Like to see the list you buy ekstra

@@SailingCoco we’re good thanks, u guys keep uploading the video’s, they are great! What tools do you use to edit the videos, I’m starting a mediation chill channel, as I write my own music, but unsure how to edit and maybe find stock video to use for them
@SailingCoco2 жыл бұрын
@@djtysonsherif6165 ahh thank you! So glad you’re enjoying watching them!! It takes at least two days to make each one but it’s worth doing for the people you get to meet and having the memories to look back on one day! We use Premiere Pro!! It’s so easy to use once you learn the shortcuts! I think there are a couple websites you can pay a little subscription for stock videos but I can’t remember which ones people use! We use Epidemic Sounds for music but you won’t need that as it’s your own music! Happy to take some sea clips if you want to use them!!

@@SailingCoco Thank you so much ! Premiere pro is a subscription right ? I love epidemic sound too, can come in handy !

Looks glorious guys. I’ve been lucky enough to visit Union Island, Tobago Cays and Mayreau, we picked a conch shell out of the sea as well, after they had been discarded by the fishermen. Such a beautiful part of the world.

In Cape Town South Africa we do not cook lobster on fire often. A little bit of water in a pot, place the whole lobster in the pot, place the lid on the pot. now steam the lobster till it is a pink color. also, we eat lobster with nothing like sauce or cheese. I always say I don't want to spoil the taste. Add a little salt to taste. the fire ( like to barbeque ) dry the lobster.
@SailingCoco2 жыл бұрын
Ahh cool thanks for the tip!! We will def try steaming it next time!

I had to laugh when she ask CAN WE KEEP IT! Poor Alfie at the end. I have to say it might be hard to even try to to even that tan up 😂 Good luck! Hey I have binge watch all your videos trying to catch up and have enjoyed them.
@SailingCoco2 жыл бұрын
Lol!! Surprisingly Alf knew exactly how to even it up because it happens on a yearly basis!! Was even in a day!! We were shocked! 😂😂 Awww so nice to hear that you enjoyed the older vids!! Thanks for watching ♥️😊

On your travels north... not sure of your route (or your current timeline) but if your are passing consider dropping in on the Turks and Caicos islands...They can be a little underestimated. Provision as much as you can ahead cos' they're not cheap on food etc. Sure spend a night or two in Providenciales or Grand Turk but the jewels are in the less visited spots. Middle Caicos, North Caicos, West Caicos, French Cay, Ambergris, Salt Cay and a ton of other spots. Hat tip to your continued favorable winds.

Heya! Thank you so much for your recommendations!! We are definitely planning on stopping off in Turks and Caicos! It is the next place that we're really looking forward to visiting soon!! Our boat is currently in Puerto Rico so we plan on a huge Walmart shop before we leave as it has been super expensive around the island's before!! We have saved your recommendations and are going to try and squeeze as many of them in the short time we're there! Thank you!! ♥️

Great video guys, showing the very best of the Caribbean. The lobster looked divine. Was it expensive? Keep the great videos coming 😍👍
@SailingCoco2 жыл бұрын
Thank you guys!! ♥️ It was 100EC per person so I think about £30pp! But it included all the other dishes too and the drinks were super cheap so it wasn't bad at all!! It was a great experience and so delicious 🤤

I can't believe you never had lobster before
