+Kay Thompson Hi, Kay. I'm really pleased you enjoy my videos and that you're going to give this project a try - you won't be disappointed! I'm not sure how beads are measured but on the two Smokey Slate baubles, the long row of beads are 0.3 cm tall and 0.5 cm wide (measured across the top from one side to the other). The large decorative bead is 1 cm tall and I cm wide. For this size bauble, these sizes are ideal. You could use smaller but I really don't recommend you go bigger. I did on a red one I'd made but didn't show in the video and the beads were 0.6 cm tall and 0.8 cm wide. This was far too big. Unfortunately, as the cord is glued inside the bauble it's going to be difficult to change it! LOL!
