Part 2 search for Bob bowker! Thanks Wendy! Worth every minute. Bobs insight and study of the hoof leave me in awe. I am in the middle of this matter, being a horse owner to a livery yard owner and now building a paddock paradise I started to learn more about hooves. I do my own trimming now and getting these insights from Bob are just pure gold for me!

Bob says the frog should just kiss the ground. Is that true for the back part of the frog as well or just the apex and middle under the navicular? My understanding is you want compressions of the frog stay to help develop the digital cushion. Thanks for your help,

I heard mr Bowker say multiple times Don't touch the frog. But what when the frog touches the ground before the hoofwall?

When he says don't touch the frog he's referring to trimming the frog, not touching it with your hands.
