That's why I bought one in icon blue!. Very reminiscent of the RD125. Had an RD when I went 17. The RD was a little more savage. I have a full Black widow de catted exhaust and to be honest there isn't much in it at top speed between the xsr and the RD both fun bikes to blast round the B roads of west Yorkshire on just the lovley woft of two stroke in the air missing!.. Good Video keep on keeping on Brother!. 💯👍🤘

Thanks Robert. I’m sure you’ve got plenty of great scenic rides in West Yorkshire, beautiful county. I’ll be biking again as soon as my slipped disks recover. The XSR125 is so much fun and ideally suited to the country lanes. Best regards, Stephen

Yes, I agree it does sound pretty good for a stock exhaust. Rides really good as well. Looking forward to getting back to riding the bike this summer after I’ve fully recovered from a few health issues. Stephen

Hi, it’s a Beeline Moto navigation display driven via Bluetooth from the Beeline App running on my iPhone. The Beeline is a great nav system giving a minimalist display. Best search for KZbin review videos. I would certainly recommend the Beeline Moto. The App is a free download if you wish to check it out. Regards, Stephen

Hi Stephen , great straight forward video and good quality in 4k . I'm about to buy the Legacy version , a bit more money but it will probably be my final bike , I'm a fit 68 . For the A roads I do mainly I can't be arsed to jump through the hoops that DVSA ask for these days . Can I ask you what heated gloves you were wearing , they look quite supple ?
@hotspur546 ай бұрын
Hi Paul, I would certainly recommend the Yamaha XSR125, any version or colour, it’s a great bike for exploring the country lanes, and good for most A roads. I avoid the A1 though as the traffic is quite congested and fast moving (around 65 to 70 mph). The big plus is the 120+ mpg, I just filled up the other day and it cost less than £8. The winter gloves are superb, they are Gerbing XRL Xtreme Heated Gloves. For summer I now use Richa Cruiser 2 gloves which are also very comfortable. I’m sure you are going to enjoy the bike. Regards, Stephen

@@hotspur54 Hi Steve , thanks for the quick reply and info ! My story is similar to yours by the sounds of it , coming back to biking when retired 3 years ago . I've had a Zontes 125 U1 since then and it's been brilliant , now looking for something to match my age , ha ha. I ride the lanes of Hampshire and the New Forest with a mate of mine , we do 120 mile days out no problem on the 125's. Question - with your user name , are you a Spurs fan like me ?

@@paulcollings5424Sorry. Hotspur is a reference to my surname, Percy. I grew up in Epple Road, Fulham, just down the road from Stamford Bridge so I’m a Chelsea fan 😊
