Wow, Rick! That was brilliant. Congrats on having it all laid out and wired. Looked extremely smooth, especially for a test run. Cool to watch a little operations work. Cheers!

Thanks Anthony! Yes all in all the track is working well. The diamond crossing is not as smoot as I would like but ultimately I am going to replace it with a handlaid one (which will probably be worse! 😂😢). Thanks for the coment - greatly appreciated.

@@TheSwitchList did you wire all the rail around the diamond to minimize the dead spot ?. Awesome Ops session. 😃

@@wethepeople7961Yes, coming out of the diamond all rails have drops connecting them to the bus. Thanks for watching and commenting

Thanks Joe - although I am not sure if you are honestly commenting on the dry river bed/trestle scene or busting my stones cuz there is no scenery anywhere else in this video?!?!?! 🤣 Either way - thanks for the comment and view.

Very nice Ops video, and I love the steamer! Is that Schuylkill Valley boxcar a club car?
@TheSwitchList Жыл бұрын
I don’t know - I acquired that in a lot of cars I bought locally from someone several years ago. I did take a closer look after you asked and all of the printing on the car looks consistent with something commercially done except the road number. That is clearly a decal that has been added - so maybe a club did have a run done without road numbers so people could have multiples with different road numbers?.. Thanks for watching and commenting - much appreciated.

that was fun to watch. where was the mill in Towson? I dont remember one
@TheSwitchList3 жыл бұрын
That is actually supposed to be Clark Concrete but I did not have anything on hand to use for a concrete facility so I just used the grain elevator I had and called it a mill for the purpose of the video. Thanks for watching, and keeping me honest, Joe!
