almost drowned going down west wall from the cornice drop first run. every direction i turned my board or even straight lined.. full wheelie, still was drinking pow with zero vision until i cartwheeled the wind lip at the bottom. didn't even get out until 10am 😂

Love it Austin! I went through 2 pairs of goggles and finally just rode without goggles. I what you mean about point it and hope. Total wheelie and white room zero viability. Many cartwheels were performed by myself. LOL

Snowboarding being cool comes and goes in waves over the years. I dont know where we are at in the current cycle but i will do a poll about that as it is an excellent question.

@@minimusmax snowboarding is def not a boomer thing lol. Maybe Gen X has caught onto it a bit more, but in general snowboarding at least from my experience (east coast) is mainly young adults (18-35). Skiing is more of a timeless sport. I see little kids all the way up to experienced seniors and everything in between.

@@minimusmax I think in general (not a new thing), most younger kids and pre-teens have always skied. Usually because it’s their parents who get them into the hobby and 99% of those parents ski. The kid doesn’t really have a choice. Snowboarding started as a rebellious sport which makes sense why it’s always been like a teenager into young adult population. Nothing against skiing (coming from a boarder) those are just my observations over my 10+ years in the mountains.

Why do you not like 1st chair on a powder day? This was the first time my camera accidentally got changed to frigging time shift mode. Ruined the footage but did my best to salvage what i could.
