Sir, I have been watching your all videos. All videos are wonderful. You said that you also studied Tamil medium. But, you got the chance to speak in English. So, you improved it. But, many people do not get a environment to speak even single person. When I start to speak English without thinking that time I get stuck and stammer. How do overcome this problem?

Sir, I missed the foreign job opportunity due to lack of fluency in English. I am unable to speak fluently and continuously for 2 to 3 minutes. Example: topic name, Do you think all criminals should go to prison? Speak about it for few minutes. Sir, how to speak this kind of topics immediately as my point of view or opinion without thinking and preparation.

I read all your comments . What a wonderful way to express your frustrating experience!. I am really impressed by your questions. Answering your questions: Believe it or not I started understanding English only after I entered the college, though I was also quite good in English Grammar and all, during my school days. I was blessed to have excellent lecturers and professors when I did my P.U.C (today's Plus 2) and B.Sc and a wonderful Principal. I must say he was exceptionally good. It was a christian institution , in Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli. These immaculately-dressed teachers with tie, coat, suit and all and with good command of English kindled my interest in English. Then I came to Madras for my further studies. It was here that I really started speaking (of course, with great difficulty). I practiced, practice and practiced. ( I can make a video on how to practice) Once I gained confidence to speak somewhat well, I made friends with my classmates who had studied in good English medium schools in Madras. I became very fluent. It was the single most cause for me to get selected directly as an officer in Bank, because I did well in the group-discussion. I interacted with my bosses only in English, though they were also Tamilians. To sum up, it was the burning desire in me that made me a good speaker in English. I like your question very much. Hence this long answer. Don't worry. Life is a long journey. You will acquire the skill to speak English. God bless you.

Sir in the statement number 2 and 7 it's a plural right then why you are using are here. According to the rule you have said if there is plural we have to use singular verb. Could you pls explain this one?
@MJalalEnglishforTamils
@MJalalEnglishforTamils 3 жыл бұрын
For plural the "be" verb should be "are" in the present form and "were" in the past form. They are going to school. Suppose you talk about only one person, it will read like this: He is going to school. In simple present tense: He goes to school. "goes" is not plural, just because "s" comes.
