Hi Jan, love these. I have a solution for you if your cutting plates are marking your cardstock. Place a scrap piece of copy paper down on your cutting plate then your cardstock and die on top and another piece of copy paper on top, no more cutting plate marks on your cardstock! 😁

I advise one new cutting plate top side. I use the old only as cutting side. Would like a petite floral pattern paper! Would make a cute bird house card the other direction.

Love them, thank you. Your tips are very helpful. I save all my strips of c.s. also so will be using them as you did. The black ink on your pink pad, how did you clean it & obviously it doesn’t affect the pad, my friend did same thing & thinks she has to order a new pad.

Jan Mansor Brown she used a green on her pink pad. She blotted it with towel but she wonders if it would change the colour of the pink pad when she stamps with it. You stamped yours and the staton didn’t come through to your project. btw, I agree that panel looks better embossed and I think putting a frame around circle on the inside gives it a finished look as well as covering up the marks from cutting pad.

Can't common sense prevail..... Why? don't you just buy NEW!!!! cutting plates to eliminate your problem they do play havoc on your cards, after many uses!!!

Common sense is prevailing, Heidi. The new Stampin' Up! machine is being launched in the not too distant future. Also, by using such badly scratched plates, I can demonstrate how to rectify the problem. Kind regards.
