How much was a parts for that damage? Im not sure do i love or hate those mowers.😄i asked the price for a new 240hd so will see is it a easy choice between a kuhn or lely.

A new mower unit from Kramp costs €1500, I payed less then half for a breaker mower. You can give a mower unit a full rebuild for €75 ish if the gears are still good.

@@slapdashie got the price. new "lely" 2.4m rear mower is almost 12k Euros. When we bought our first one in 2004 it was something like 5000€

@@slapdashie Btw. How much can i overfill 6420 hydraulic oil. i used dump trailer and it only lift it half way. dip stick level is now max when stick is not turned all the way in and loader is down.

Guess what. Today was bad day, I drove the 550p right side cutting bar into a big rock. The entire cutting bar was shattered into pieces, bar also hit the mower rear tire and the whole wheel fly off (axle broke). of course tyre was also shot. whole connecting bar bent, hex shafts broke. maybe 2 sections from 7 is "ok" maybe..... it also happened next to road. So there was lots of curious friends watching the show. :D What should i do? Take couple drink?

Taking a drink would be a good first step. If you like the mower I'd suggest finding a parts machine and repairing it. If you don't like the machine it might be a good moment to cut your losses and buy something else.
