Hi I am new to brewing. I am using, coopers international beer kit. Why am only getting a mid strength beer??

Hi! You mention that you let the beer sit for a month in the fermentor for the yeast to absorb off flavors. Do you think it would have the same effect, if you bottle your beer after fermentation and let it sit for three or four weeks in the bottles? It probably depends on the beer style as well I would assume?

No that won't have the same effect. It needs to sit on the yeast cake for a month. Bottle conditioning will mellow high abv beers but the idea is to leave it on the yeast to so the yeast can reabsorb the off flavors it created during fermentation

If it sits in the bottles how will people get it off the yeast cake?
