I've played a lot of non-stacking Decidueye (charm/float/bangle), and it's good. It's the way that I would recommend that people learn how to play it so that they learn proper positioning. Muscle is arguably better than bangle bc of objective rip, but I prefer maximising damage to secure more KOs with a single arrow. I recently switched back to attack weight for bangle and it's definitely better imo, but I wouldn't recommend it until you are experienced with Decidueye. The biggest issue to overcome with stacking on it is discipline and not inting for stacks. You don't need them, but if you can get any then they up your damage massively. By not stacking you can ensure that you are well positioned almost all of the time.

I think it would've been the right play to go for the Lv.15 Decidueye instead of the ca. Lv.12 other teammates first (but people love wasting time on Defenders etc.), but I have to say, it would've been better if Umbreon at least stood in front of Decidueye to block the Unite Move's damage.

I think shadow sneak should be reworked so that the shadow-snuck target has a radius around it, and while Decidueye is within that radius it becomes untargetable until the effect ends.

Nah. Decidueye is actually a lot stronger than people give it credit for because of how much damage it can do from range and the fact that it out-ranges basically everything. Any buff risks making it broken. As long as you have good positioning, sneak plus eject gets you out of trouble most of the time. You are hard countered by speedsters, but that's fine. Counter play should exist, and Decidueye hard counters way more things than it gets countered by. The only buff you could make a case for is a slight CD reduction on sneak, but it's fine where it is imo.

@@nickg5341 Sorry, but it's just not a sensible suggestion. Something that hits as hard as Decidueye and from such long range doesn't deserve to be near unpunishable. Good positioning, map awareness, and not burning your eject or shadow sneak unnecessarily all help to mitigate the speedster threat. And if the enemy has more than one speedster you can even run leaf storm. Honestly, leaf storm is probably the shadow sneak buff you're looking for anyway.

Wow, these are the held items I used on Decidueye. I made the best record recently this season, 128k damage, 13 KOs and 7 assists. Even though I f*** up on late game but we still win thanks for my decent teammates

The bird is cool and all but can we talk about how busted zeraora is. It's either that or I clap absolute cheeks with that mon. It's been my solo que Mon for like 2-3 months now and it never fails just so long as you master the discharge volt switch pull. It's absolutely busted just looking for opinions on that matter cause sheeeeeeeesh. Not saying it needs nerf fyi. Just a very solid mon atm.

I use focus band because of Unite Climbing Guide, and it replaces float stone since I am already using charging charm.

Decidueye is so squishy that you don't ever want to rely on focus band, and you want to be at such a range that you don't need it anyway. You also want to maximise your damage to secure more single arrow KOs, so your items and emblems should be max damage with no investment in hp or defences.

Decidueye indeed it tough. You could have four defenders/supporters on the team and they'd still all four just let the enemies casually walk by just to KO you. smh Rayquaza's hitbox can be a bit weird. I missed a few times because I rather aimed for its head, but the hitbox is lower 😶 Anyways, it's always exciting to see some owl gameplay!

Eject and Shadow Sneak are plenty to get away if you're noticing enemies that early. And being able to eject through terrain is invaluable.
