CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRY GHOSTS
1 10 oz. bag of Ghirardelli white chocolate melts
1 to 1-1/2 lbs fresh strawberries m, washed and dried
Writing icing
Melt chocolate according to package directions in microwave. Dip strawberries into chocolate by holding the stem and dip 3/4 of the strawberry leaving a little red at the top. Drop off the excess and Kay on wax paper. Use writing icing to draw a ghost face. Leave strawberries on wax paper until chocolate is hardened. Store in refrigerator.
FRANKENSTEIN BROWNIES
Little Debbie brownies
Green candy melts (or white ones with green food coloring)
Candy eyeballs
Brown chocolate sprinkles
Melt candy melts In microwave according to package directions. Dip brownies almost halfway into melted green candy. Drip or scrape off excess. Lay on wax paper. Place two candy eyes on green part of brownie and then sprinkle the chocolate sprinkles on top to resemble hair. Allow to harden on wax paper.
RICE KRISPIE SPIDERS
3 tbsp butter
40 marshmallows (regular size not the mini ones)
6 cups of Cocoa Krispies
Candy Eyeballs
Pretzels for legs - you can use sticks or break off the curved tops of pretzel twists
Make Rice Krispie treat’s according to package. Melt butter and marshmallows in a large pan on stove over low heat. Once all marshmallows are melted, stir in cereal and mix until fully combined. Spray a 1/3 cup (or whichever size you prefer fit your spiders) with oil or cooking spray. Scoop up the cereal mixture making sure to press against the side of the pan to get a tight ball for the spider body. Work quickly before the mixture cools completely and hardens. Once all the bodies are made, push candy eyes on front - you can use some writing icing if the don’t want to stick. Then use a skewer to make holes for pretzel legs and then push pretzel pieces in for legs. Be gentle do you don’t mess up the ball shape of the spider. Allie to cool completely.
