Hey everyone. Now before y'all start telling me I messed up. I KNOW. LOL. I should have folded in the whipped cream at the end of the mixing. Yes it would have made it more fluffy, and I know better. But let me tell you what. I still tasted so good. I might have even cut it sooner than I should have. But it was worth it. Y'all need to try this one for sure for Thanksgiving. one of my favorites!! when i make one, i drizzle chocolate syrup on the crust before adding the filling, then drizzle more on top with crushed reese's cup or peanuts. thanks for sharing!

It's like you're inside my head! I was just starting to look for an easy peanut butter pie recipe for Thanksgiving and here we are. This is perfect --- I have an almost irrational love for Cool Whip, maybe it's a childhood thing, my mom always had a couple tubs in the freezer.

I made your BBQ green beans and this pie yesterday (Thanksgiving) and this pie is insanely good. I could only find 9" crust, so to add some bulk I warmed a jar of hot fudge topping, poured it over the crust then refrigerated it to set firm before topping with the peanut butter-cool whip mixture --- so there's a gooey layer of fudge on the bottom. I'm having to exercise self control because I just want to sit in front of the pie with a spoon and have at it. I also put chopped mini peanut butter cups around the perimeter because why not.
