If you haven't gotten accustomed to the differences between real and counterfeit money and you're the team selling the project, buy a stack of counterfeit money before you set off, and during the deal slot the counterfeit money into the other corp's briefcase. If it matches the rest of the money, something's up. Not that I recommend anyone use counterfeit money at this point, other than as a distraction. Basically everybody can identify reals from fakes in a split second now.
