Hi Cheryl, I have done this with placemats, but it never dawned on me to do it with pot holders plus fabric panels. Thank you for showing this. Yes, lots of great gifting. Love your fabrics. Nice job. Thank you again. Kathleen

Wow, I thought the wavy quilted lines were a fancy quilt design - love it! I've made a few pot holders using your no binding easy tutorial and will definitely have to make more with this technique! Thanks for the great instructions as always!

WHAT A G R E A T TECHNIQE !!!! EVERY TIME WHEN I SEW A POT HOLDER, I HATE THE MOMENT IN WHICH I HAVE TO BIND IT WITH BIAS TAPE AND I'M STRUGGLING WITH THE CORNERS. NOW YOU GAVE ME THE PERFECT SOLLUTION. IT MAKES IT SO EASY TO SEW POT HOLDER. WOW, I AM SO GLAD!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH

Yes, I agree. It is a waste of my time to have to watch the cutting of multiple strips or sewing and cutting dozens of half square triangles. Show me one time. If I don't get it I can rewind/go back until I get understand. This lady is just great in all her videos.

Thank you for your tutorial on potholders without bindings. It is sooo much easier and faster than with the binding. I’m doing some for Christmas gifts as we speak.🎅🏾🎅🏾

Thanks for the easy tutorial. I made a large hot pad for the table to put hot dishes on a long time ago but I forgot exactly how to do it. I found this video just in time. My hubby asked me this morning when I was going to make new pot holders.. Great timing. Haha.

Well done! You have a wonderful voice and way for teaching. I've been sewing for about 60 years. We didn't have computer videos and instructions way back then and you and your seam ripper became best friends. LOL

Hi NG B. Then you remember cutting dress patterns out of the newspaper, Simplicity and McCalls patterns were way under a dollar, and the only type of decorative stitch on the sewing machine was a straight stitch - LOL. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.

@@TheSewingRoomChannel Oh, yes ... I remember well. My mother taught me to sew and if I had a date and wanted a new outfit, she'd tell me to go make one. I could knockout a pant suit or shift and jacket that afternoon and wear it that evening.

Hi- I'm 70 & just took the machine out of the box last week...figured out how to thread it (I love youtube) & ran into your vid for the easy placemat. I was excited for this to be a great beginner & sort of practice project & took my little measurement note with me to Joann's & bought what I needed (Haven't taken a deep enough breath to start yet....ack!) & this morning saw this one. Those look great! Back in the 80s, i used to bind my quilts the same way. I got fussed out by some quilters for taking this short cut, but my quilts were for the beds, not for museum pieces! Works great for placemats too. Nice video! Thanks.
