This is great, but you missed one tip I saw in another video concerning her ult. The guy in the video explained how once you get to the higher ranks like Diamond plus, you'll be facing a lot of Luna Snow and Mantis players, and at those ranks, they are good enough to consistently stun you the moment you ult to cancel it. So Psylocke players have taken to dashing into the air before ulting to make it harder to shut you down.

wait, so basically, it's like Genji, dash up > ult to do some animation before enemy react? the difference is when genji is in his ult phase, he the ult is still continue until time expired or he's dead. I get lucky (or just still in low tier) never get any stun with phsylocke, does she got cancel even with her ulti phase on going?

yep pretty much exactly like Genji, and once she starts, I'm almost certain she's intangible. You can also find positioning with her stealth before ulting

Oh yeah been maining psylocke for abt 17 hrs already so far but I’ve learned to dash atleast once facing the air then popping ult,one cuz it’s hard to hit you while tht like 1-2 second ult animation,also if there is a iron man or storm in the air the ult will kill the floating characters first,the only thing tht I’ve seen to counter this tho is Luna stars ult it basically makes it impossible to kill anyone

one side note about the ult, I've heard from Psylocke mains that the first person it targets is the last player you did damage to inside the AoE for your ult. After that it's random and goes in order.

100% agree, it also cloaks your footsteps so the enemy wont hear you and pre-emptively start jump strafing. Free lineup for an easy kill. So helpful on skinny characters like mantis and luna. Great vid tho x

If possible you can try and dash through someone on your way out for free damage too. Her dash hitbox is so big it’s not hard at all to pull of consistently and it deters people from chasing you down if you waste all movement in a fight

Just a heads up: saying crossbow, shuriken, etc is very helpful. Saying left click, right click alienates everyone on PlayStation and Xbox who now have to do mental gymnastics to know what you're talking about.

Tapping lmb will fire one salvo of 2 shots. Holding it just causes to fire salvos back to back. ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

You should almost always click every shot when the weapon is not full auto. It's easier to aim and micro adjust between shots.

Even though I have no interest in playing Psylocke (I'm mainly a healer with terrible aim), this was a really good guide. While I won't play her, I at least now I _understand_ her, which is great for a game with so many characters. I look forward to the Magic guide (and basically any). Last night, I had a number of 1 v 1s against an annoying Magic (the eventual MVP) and I didn't really know what I was getting into with that character.

I might have missed it, but I don't think you directly stated that it dealt the damage of the shurikens being pulled out as well. Regardless, great video, man! I have like 27 hours on Psylocke and full mastery but still picked up a couple of things. One thing I would challenge you on, is your statement about avoiding using invis for the engage; as I find that to be very powerful for establishing the flank angle behind them. My usual opener is to dash a good distance to the side, take poke shots to restore my dash back, then wait until I'm not focused, go invis, get behind whatever squishy is isolated, take them out using the dash angles so it positions me back towards my team, and then have the extra dash to ensure I can safely make it to my back line.

So I dont really know how but I have pull some assists with Psylocke and I was wondering how can it be possible cause her abilities dont buff or heal anyone. Maybe the shuriken bonus heal get apply to a teamate if they go tru them when coming back, even if it not really apply the bonus health. Or maybe it was some other kind of weird interaction between heroes. The agrupation with Magick grants her 15% bonus damage, so maybe if I deal damage to a target that Magick ends killing it counts as an assit because of the 15% bonus damage... Don´t really know. By the way, your shurikens can hit multiple targets when they come back, if you hit someone, then change target, cast again, the shurikens deals damage to first target again, then the other one and then anything thats in the way. You can throw your shurikens to the sky and then cast again while you aim at enemy target and will hit that target before coming back to you. I reach level Señor already and yeah, great Soloist to change odds to your side when the team is falling behind. Just got to avoid getting kill and be disruptive and unpredictible and constantly deal damage to the backline. If you dont get a kill, you surely will get their attention and that can be massive to realease pressure to the fronline of your team (your team will never get to know this to... most players just see the numbers of the scoreboard to assess how well you perform, don´t mind and keep climbing). We need new class names, cause only duelist for psylocke or other heroes does´nt fit. Disruptor fits better. Dominator for Punisher and Hela. Sharpshooter for Hawkeye, Black Widow and Starlord. This could help to mindset players that came from Overwatch and are stuck in the 2:2:2 comps like if it was a win con... Sure it got some balance, but it got weaknesses too. 1:3:2, 2:1:3, 3:0:3 are also very strong comps with the rights agrupations and heroes. And thats because some Strategist have a great set of tools and damage deal too. So for me, they have to divide that with another Class name, so you got Strategists (Loki, Rocket) and Vitalizers (pure healers: Mantis, Luna, Warlock, Jeff). You can get even a Duelist Vitalizer for example in Iron Fist, if he can channel his Chi to heal a team mate, and it will be more lore accurate. It´s gonna break this OP heroe even more? Sure... who cares? Just give us the tools, then get it balanced, cause you can´t balance what it isn´t there. Psylocke needs a passive in his melee atacks that prevents target heal from any source for 1.3 second and delay cooldowns of healing abilities by 0.5 seconds, this will be lore accurate. As well to prevent spider mines and electronics devices to detect hear when she is in stealth mode. And a short double jump repositioning tool. Iron Fist can run tru walls, 3 mid air jumps and fly with every kick and Psylocke can´t even get up to a box that hits her knees when jumping without using a dash... c´mon... lame. Give me butterfly wings just to reach that tiny gap to the third stair step or get Iron Man with a melee in his face using two dashes and one mid air jump. Give me tooools!!!! Well I let myself go... Nice vid, always willing to see what other Psylocke mechanics are out there. I've already reached S level mastering. Keep it up!

I mean she is a pretty aim heavy character. Not really sure there is a way to play her effectively if you can’t hit your shots. You might just have to suck it up and just run it over and over until the aim clicks and improves more. A aim tip that has worked against people who strafe a lot is instead of aiming with mouse, you can try to aim by movement( instead of using your mouse to micro adjust aim, you can try to adjust your aim by moving your character)

Honestly with how mobile and high damage healers are in this game, especially dagger and mantis, i feel that a lot of the time 1v1'ing supports feel impossible without ult,especially if they pocket one another. And even with ult,its usually negated by supp ult. With all the flying,flipping and dashing and strafing,landing a full uninterrupted combo doesnt feel doable.

You have not read what her abilities does my brother, so two tap with primary fire “one click”, into right click and then dash is a oneshot. Because dash recalls the right click. High elo psy main, I can tell you, many of these tips is pretty good for someone starting out but, you are still not touching on to, set up’s with her, so when ur tank is doing this, do this, if they have this hero, do this to disrupt the kit, if ur supports are being dove by this hero, peal for them in this way bla bla bla, that’s an advanced guide, this is a beginners guide

Very underpowered hero, lack of mobility, she's slow for a ninja, cannot wall run/jump not even double jump. Compare that to iron fist who is fked beyond understanding. Her E was nerfed, you cannot easily disengage with E, for some reason you keep "blinking" so anyone can predict where you go.
