As a Consol player who literally does not have access to anything other than base game it’s really funny to watch everyone else struggle to make a decent looking sims in base game and I can do it in 15 minutes cause it’s literally all that I have 💀😭 justice for Consol players 😫😫

I think the discourse between mm and alpha users are so stupid, because they're so mean to each other, but both can be so pretty and everyone should be able to play how they'd like! i recently started using alpha cc again and OMG I CANT BELIEVE I EVER STOPPED my only complaint about it is the fact that in live mode they look so out of place and you have to make over literally EVERYONE they talk to to make ur sim look a little less out of place

I only exclusively use alpha cc. I mean no disrespect when I say that I don't understand the people who claim that they think it's weird when they see a alpha sim next to a regular townie. In my deranged perspective, it's the other sims' fault for not fitting in with my alpha sims, not the other way around. It's like, get with the times, I am literally their god , they should just simply choose to look better. I am never going to go in and personally give every sim a alpha makeover. I would just go in and delete the sims that don't fit in and make new alpha sims that DO fit in. But in general, I don't care really that they look different from the base game sims. I only make them interact and befriend the sims I made anyway.

i really like the longer skirts on her! as you showed, the trendier style recently is definitely something more "egirl" esque while the long skirt pulls more into older alternative fashion looks like gothic styles. cool video overall! you dont get to see a lot of alternative sims youtubers!

I think that's because it adds a bit to the realistic kinda look... Because people are imperfect and it's nice to see imperfect things because it can make one less insecure I think... And it overall look way better than a perfect sim with perfect teeth a perfect skin and everything... But that's how I see it and I indeed do agree with you.

I use maxis mix. I enjoy using alpha hair and sometimes alpha clothes, but I don't care for the realistic skins. Some of the clothes they wear are maxis match, but they're also alpha. I like to mix the two together so they're not too realistic, but more realistic than the original EA style.

i love watching cc creators and users use basegame and just packs to make sims cos it's so different to how i play lol, i don't use cc unfortunately so i just use packs and basegame and all of my sims look really good LMAO, it's so interesting to see the difference in quality of the sims without cc and with cc. love ur vids :3 edit: also all of the sims turned out soo good i love beth's vibe!! i'd say the maxis match is my fave cos her style is immaculate 🙏🏼

I only use mm clothing & hair cus those 2 cas items sticks out to me alot in game but i have downloaded a mix of alpha cc that can kinda pass as mm somewhat.. the shader really helps making the alpha cc look as if it could be a part of the game.. i do like alpha hairs alot better then the clay hairs. i am really considering using alpha hair now with ur shaders after seeing this.. also cus i already use MCC to control my rando townie spawns from gallery, it will just be more of a job to give everyone makeovers so they dont stick out too much.. uff ill have to think about this. Ty for the shader, i was looking for one that is giving this exact effect!

if u wanna make the face bigger go into detail edit mode and basically click the forehead while ur sim is front facing and drag ur mouse to resize it (its like how u can resize the entire head but when ur in detail edit its just the face if that makes sense)

Alpha cc is one of the greatest mods for this game. However the cartoony world just breaks any immersion that Alpha cc adds. I find it hard to use realistic looking build objects as well like Filexandre and Harrie cc for the same reasons.

I used to play with no CC because I played on Xbox as a kid (Sims 3, not 4) then PlayStation (Sims 4) so I literally couldn't get CC. I never customized the face, lol. Just hair and outfit basically. Now I have the Sims 4 on Steam (I got it before it was free) and so I can download all the CC I want! I use it all the time and the only way to get me not to use it is to literally turn off all my mods. It's so tempting lol.

Basically No cc is just a sim with no custom content at all, and maxis match is cc that match’s the game, for alpha it’s cc that looks realistic and stuff.

So I have never played sims. What is CC, Maxis Match and Alpha? Are they no included in the base game? Do you have to download them from someplace specific? Do you have to download each eyebrow, eyeliner, blush, freckles ect.?
