Childhood jealousy was justified a bit because a child don't know difference about such things. No one was there to teach her. But she could have improved with the time. But instead of improving herself and freeing herself from childhood trauma she wanted to steal everything from Ji won. Su min didn't show a bit sympathy even after Ji won's dad passed away. Even when Ji won was suffering from cancer she wanted to push her from the cliff.🙃 How can someone be so low to think about murdering anyone when that person is about die 💔 Little Sumin was such a pathetic soul who was devoid of parents love. One shouldn't give birth to a child if they can't provide a better environment for her. Such souls can be scary as Su min when they grow up 💔

I do agree with you. Children do not always know any better, but Sumin is an adult now. Not only that but Jiwon and her father always showed great kindness to Sumin. Jiwon even gave her friend chance after chance to change her ways. Sumin is stuck in the past and uses her tragedy as an excuse to make her friend as miserable as she is. Sumin's idea to bring pain to Jiwon brought herself even more misery. By 'stealin' Minwhan she got horror not the family she was looking for. Sad thing is she had a Family with Jiwon and failed to treasure it and make it her safe space.

Exactly. There's a point in your life where you would look and learn. You stop blaming your parents and your childhood experiences for your choices as an adult. Take responsibility for your own action. Su Min and Ji Won had similar experience. Su Min didn't have a great mother/parent figure but she had Ji Won as a loving best friend and Ji Won's dad treated her like a daughter too. She had those two to love and be there for her (until dad passed away). Ji Won would've kept being Su Min's bff if Su Min didn't do what she did. I pity Ji Won for actually loving and thinking highly of Su Min. She felt so betrayed and was ...welp, practically murdered in her first life. She did not deserve Su Min's evilness and vengeance. Every villian will have a backstory justifying everything they did and only the victim affected will know the pain, Sumin did mental torture and gave n number of trauma to jiwon. parents role is mandatory for a child's moral upbringing But Nah She destroyed herself even after Adulting. Jiwon suffered like hell without even making any mistake. She lost her life too. Its acceptable that sumin had bad parents they didn't show her love. That is not the cause of her problems. I think she's trying to vent on whomever she can: when she was young she couldn't really hurt the adults that hurt her so her hate just got concentrated on whoever was the weakest in the scenario. Thing is many people have a tragic past, Sumin does have a reason to be sad. However some people use their tradegy to play the victim and make an excuse for their bad behavior. In the manwha Jiwon and her father were incredibly kind to Sumin after she introduced herself. Instead of making the two her Haven because they share a similar experience Sumin decided to blame Jiwon and bring her 'bff' low so she only had Sumin to depend on. So Sumin had front row to Jiwon's misery, and at the same time had someone who would never abandon her. They are making Sumin a deeper character and the actress is playing her beautifully. Her expressions, voice, and physicality are played perfectly for this character. Its making some people feel sorry for Sumin.

I love that they gave her a reason to hate Ji won. And you feel bad for her pain but you can't justify it. It's a great way to show that your trauma doesn't give you the right to destroy someone else's life. The actress plating Su min killed it. She's got a great role where she's a manipulative, broken, vindictive, rotten and cunning person within, but projects a sweet and wholesome vibe. It's a role that demands range, which she delivers in spades.

Her expressions and acting skills are so good she truly played her Villain character really well. She acts like she was waiting for so long to play this role and cry loudly and empty her heart. For me it's relatable I never cry in front of people and when I gets angry I can't control my tears and anger, my mother is saying that I'm a quiet person but when I get angry then I'm very dangerous god save the person who gets me angry 💢😡. My heart is full of tears I want to cry loudly but I don't want........😊

No, not at all. To be a heroine requires heroism. There is nothing heroic about crushing someone underneath your bootheel in the guise of friendship. If not for time reverting Ji Won would be dead. She had chances to be a good friend and at every turn chose the opposite.

Naurrr. Sumin is not a flawed heroine. She's a really bad person. As a child she may not have known that Jiwon isn't at fault. She was a child. But as she grew up she should've known. As an adult she should've left jiwon alone. It was all jealousy and obsession. She had a chance to change herself. Forgive her dad and move on but she didn't. She also still thinks Jiwon is at fault(she's 27💀) she has no valid reason to treat jiwon this badly

Despite how much I hated her even when reading the manhwa, I felt bad for her too and I understand why she’d have so much hate in her. I’ve experienced something similar before so I can relate to why she’d want to have a person to blame and pour all her hatred into (ex: Ji-won). However, no matter how hurt and broken she is, the fact that her initial reaction was to take revenge on Ji-won, who was also a victim in this situation and never did anything wrong, is the reason why Su-min is still the antagonist.

The main difference between jiwon and somin is that they both knew somin's dad and jiwon's mom were cheating on their partners and left them. So Somin wanted to hurt Jiwon because her father left him because of her mother. On the other hand, jiwon wanted somin not to suffer the pain that she himself suffered, she wanted to always be by her side like a family. It teaches that there is good and bad in all people but it is your decision which one you choose.

This scene hit me hard, cuz I'm one of those abandoned child. But alhamdulillah Allah always there to help me and guide me, surrounding me with good people. I learned how to be good people, with all the scars from my childhood I swear thats not easy at all. We abandoned kids have to bear the ugliest mental issues that someone could ever bear. And for being good people, we have to push ourselves with so much effort ONLY for being GOOD! Thats what people doesnt even know. But I am good people, cuz the help of Allah🤍
