Honestly. It really does. Especially in the new series, cause they're definition of family (albeit a bit Flanderized to account for lore and comedy) is kinda accurate. Family is whoever you hold dear to you, not some label on people you are related to by blood.

this is so good. connecting the lyrics about the junkyard to that scene was perfect, and don't get me started on the part from 0:49-1:01 with the death episode and how that fits so well. the way the composition of the shot with the ingredients turned into the funeral??? inspired. then there's the part from 1:18-1:27 with the perfect references to the family episode, so well done, plus how the photo then transitions to the scene of them in front of the fridge connecting it all back? literal masterpiece this video, the song already fits the characters well with its cycles and the unhappiness and the hating each other but sticking together/being stuck together despite it but you got the absolute fullest potential out of this song with this show!!!

the colors are so nice within this! the contrast is really brilliant! ur use of that light grey blue color is pleasing to my eyeballs. it’s so expressive and thoughtful! I adore that you show both the good moments with the three of them alongside the really bad bad things. something about the way you draw the expressions is so nice? also i don’t know if cinematography is the right word for it, but you also put so much thought into how it flows (like starting and ending on the house!) the warping perspective on the door was so fascinating. I could ramble longer lol but my final thought is your line work!! the texture is so nice to look at? I notice it most with the face wrinkles and hair (like red guys hair, the messy strands of yellow guy’s hair? those like cheek lines!!! sorry for rambling, but I’m sure u put a good deal of thought n time into this n I really loved it and wanted 2 ramble!! thank u for sharing!!!

This show and this song gives me existential dread, but in a good way. Like falling while you’re skateboarding, or burning your tongue sipping a coffee. School and a dysfunction family is another, like cutting yourself while cooking, or stubbing your toe. I don’t know what to do other than watch amazing videos like this or skip school. Life gives people lemons, but what do you do when life gives you urchins.

THIS IS WHAT GOT ME ADDICTED TO THIS SHOW. This popped up into my recommended and I ignored it for like a month, but it kept popping up. So I finally watched it. I was confused and I wondered why the characters hated eachother and why there was a broken plate and why they were in a car and why they were in a junkyard and then back to their house on the spinny wheel. I was s o c o n f u s e d. I put off watching the show because I knew it was gorey, but It kept bugging me- why did the characters hate eachother? Then I binge watched the entire show in two days and IAG9UHFOAWEOFAOWEHFAOWUEFH I CAME BACK AND IT HITS SO MUCH HARDER. I love this animatic and good job to the artist!! Lovely art style and beautiful timing!
