good vid! When FultterFlow talks about Firebase, can Firebase be a local database stored with the app on the user's phone, or is Firebase always in the Cloud, and the phone needs to be online in order to access it's Firebase database ?
@alexbthomsen2 жыл бұрын
to my knowledge I only know of Firebase in the cloud. For offline storage, you could use something like your phone cache and when user is online again send info to Firebase

Nice video thanks. What tool would you recommend for someone who wants to integrate GoogleMaps in their app? I am quite a visual person. Low code (my background is Python/Kivy but these apps are slow. C++, Perl). I don't know much Java or Dart yet.

The majority of the apps include Google maps integration. If you like low-code check out both Flutterflow and Draftbit to get a feel for what you like. If you want more no-code check out Appgyver also a solid one

Two comments that I would like to get your opinion on as relates to these app builders vs Bubble. I see that in Bubble, it comes with a built-in database option, so you don't need a 3rd party cloud provider for your db and api's talking to that db. Also, Bubble seems oriented to the web but these 2 seem built for the app market. Is there any tool which has all of it - db built in, app and web support? Seems to me that all the tools have some limitation, which means that none of them are fully NO CODE platforms. For the missing pieces, you will have to be a developer to fill those gaps. Any comments?

Hi if you want something that covers everything decently well, probably Bubble is your best bet since the marketplace offers ways to wrap your web app into a mobile app. Yes for sure no-code has limitations and will for a very long time! Ultimately having some coding knowledge will help big time and for customization would be needed. Alternatively, talk to Chat GPT and it can generate you the code ;)

Do you think AppGyver is the best no code mobile app development platform? Specifically for publishing to app marketplaces
@alexbthomsen Жыл бұрын
I think "Best" is a strong one. I personally use Draftbit a looot more because it gives the low-code flexibility. If you want pure no-code then Appgyver is a great option and offer more logic complexity than e.g Adalo
