What good work not leak testing and repair leak on an empty system around here that is a crime directly venting refrigerant in to atmosphere

I put a deep 11/32 socket on an 3/8 adapter that I can use on my drill. Makes it quicker to tighten the motors & saves space in the tool bag. I don’t have to carry the nut driver anymore.

Once you go there, tell them you'll investigate, and when you're sure you've identified the problem, you will let them know. bring em out or show a picture/ video of the problem and then ask if they'd like you to take care of it. then, they will say yes or how much and then give you permission before hand. if they aren't okay with it, say okay I understand and move on. But, if you're gonna do it like that, make sure you have taken everything into consideration as much as possible. that way you don't keep adding stuff on.

That's the same brand of motor that was put on my Miller package AC a year ago and it's been good so far

I like the go pro. It works great. Eventually the cameras are gonna get smaller. Maybe small enough to put on a hat. Till then I think the go pro will do just fine. My daughter films her hunting and fishing season. I don’t know how she gets such nice shots. Makes me a little jealous of her abilities. Anyways nice repair on the coil unit. It’ll probably cool just a little better with that new fan motor.

Why did you eliminate that white striped wire ? What refrigerant was in the unit originally?

I believe that’s a redundant wire, not needed for a dual run capacitor.

Depending on the motor that wire could have been a different speed tap

That fiber type washer has made some noise after a while on some motors so I remove them just to not have a callback

Anyone care to offer an opinion on current ICP equip 2.5 ton vs Goodman -- Rheem - Rudd ? I'm a remodeler but been watching these for a long time. My friend just got ICP installed --- China condenser motor -- not to much to the condenser grille...I see. I'm staying out of it -- but curious to see how the equip. ranks. $10k install for a 1200 sq ft house -- new flex is all in addition to the equip. Gas heat -- split sys.

too late panties in a bunch because you were suppose to cut off the shaft regardless if it hit the compressor because long shaft equals pre mature bearing failure in the fan
