Crochet is so easy though. It's literally just bringing your own hair (if you don't know how to braid then I can see why it's hard) and looping hair through the braid. My 9 year old brother could do that.not bring rude but crochet was invented to be easy.

Instead of pinning the plait in the middle of the quadrant, you can always use the crochet needle, pull the braid through itself. No pins! Pins tend to scratch up against the scalp

Also, you can just cut right above the knot and gently rake the remainder of the hair out :) the knots slip right out!
@9jah4lyf4 жыл бұрын
I usually don't cut out. I tug gently on the knot until it loosens. Alternatively, you could probably put a comb between the fake hair and yours for each knot then cut.

Now your natural hair is some gorgeous 4B/4C hair that I can relate to👏🏽🥰❣. I love how your versatile crochet style came out, but that's no surprise because you're always killing it in the hairstyle department 😉. By the way Mary, if you're interested in an effective wash n go combo for our hair type I highly recommend using a little bit 🤏 of Oyin hair dew leave in lotion, followed by Obia Naturals curl enhancing custard and finishing with Uncle Funky's curly magic botanical gel. I find all these products super effective at capturing my texture and preserving it from frizz while keeping it soft; not to mention, they're all "for us, by us" ✊🏾. I should mention I also go under the hooded dryer immediately after applying product to my entire head so my hair doesn't have an opportunity to shrink up all the way. Hope these recs help someone. Thanks for the great video Mary 💜💜💜.
