I love this series. Such fun ideas. Another great source for free paper weaving supplies is paint samples from the hardware store. I always pick up a few when I'm there. Unlimited colors to choose from. They are usually quite thick, so they don't work for every project, but I use them quite often.

This is almost spooky. Yesterday I made a card where I weaved strips of card stock scraps, toned it down with gesso and added grit paste through a stencil.😀

Thanks so much Carolyn, unfortunately, I don't have a set timetable for the cards in this challenge, I do them as time permits and inspiration strikes, and I try to squeeze other videos in too. I am up to number 40 and I try to upload one at least every fortnight 🦋 Hope that helps and thanks for watching 🦋

What heat gun do you recommend? I am not sure of which to get I don’t want to get one too powerful when I’ll just be using it for crafts like this

Hi< I have the Dremel 930 and I highly recommend it, it doesn't drip at all, even when using cheaper glue sticks. I will never buy another brand of glue gun again. If you are in Australia, I got mine from Bunnings 🥰

Does art really need a point? It is creative expression and a creative outlet. This is how I relax and unwind and I find it extremely enjoyable. I know that not all people are creative, so not everyone will 'get it'! Each to their own.
