Annabelle cause she makes me think of Anabelle from the old Christmas movie Anabelle's Wish. As for a backstory. Maybe in the ice kingdom where she comes from it's nothing but ruins and disarray. She then sets out to find someone who can help her restore her kingdom to it's former glory.

Actually I love the name Amari and I think it suits the character! I've been debating winter themed named but it just didn't fit and Amari just sounds like a better fit. ^^

For the smudging issue, look into getting a Smudge Guard or something similar. It’s a partial glove that prevents sweat and oils from the hands smudging the graphite. They can also be worn when drawing on a tablet as it allows your hand to glide across the pad without sticking. I had one made (my hands are super small so I needed a custom), and it’s one of my favorite are “supplies.” :)

For Traditional art - I know but also I'm a left-handed artist who works left to right, it comes with the territory whether I wear a smudge guard or not. And I also know - I always wear a smudge guard when drawing digitally. I too also have very small hands so I know the feeling of smudge guards not fitting, also smudge guards for me don't really feel natural with traditional art, only with digital art they feel normal, that's why I don't use them all that much.

I've already settled on 'Amari', suggested by another comment, but quite a few people suggested 'Fawn' - I think it makes a better surname than 'Noelle' does so Fawn could be her surname instead. Amari Fawn
