Great tutorial! For those who may be new to sewing: If using a one-way design fabric, two panels will need to be cut and joined with a seam (allowance made for the seam when cutting the two panels) - otherwise the design on one side of the bag will be upside down.

I almost did that making a poncho out of fleece! I was given many piece of fleece from someones grandma stash. Most were sports so donated to tiny thrift in our tiny town! The one I was making for my friend was a bit too busy for me. Colorful birds and spring branches etc. At last minute I realized the back would be upside down! So did as you said. Cut and turned and resewed at top where shoulder seam would be!
