My first truck was a 1993 Ford Ranger with the 2.3 5speed that I picked up for $500 after I got my first job. My dad has passed on now, but I’ll be forever grateful that he taught me the appreciation of things that you earned and worked for.

Im 14 and im gonna be 15 tomorrow, i didn't have to go buy my first truck but i have a 1999 3.0 v6 5 speed ranger and it has been passed down to be from my uncle to my dad and my dad to me. Even though it was given to me it didn't run right and would overheat in 30 seconds, i had to rebuild the entire front half of the engine from the engine block forward by myself. So even though i didn't have to buy it my dad still taught me that if i wanted it i was gonna have to bust my ass for it. Im not to sure how many hours i have into it right now but probably over 100-150

@@bradjon7231I don't know if that's the issue. Many things changed, starting with the population growth which increased the demand for houses. Since houses and apartments take space, the space is one of the goods that is hard to "produce" (except in tall buildings, who can produce more space with a lower footprint). Land doesn't expend, but the humans keep doing it, so demand for houses will keep rising.

My first car STILL IS a 1999 jetta... with 200k miles... which costes 600$, i didn't buy it, how ever i was thinking in getting one with my money i would get from the national guard which my mom stopped me from joining, she would also go on with i should study and not work. All of this backfired horribly. I'm am now changing careers and my car might get crushed because it failed inspection and my father does not want to go around paying a mechanic and a tow truck to get the inspection. The only reason I've gone this far is with the money my family have been giving me which i hate my self for receiving because they are also broke. I'm furious but there isn't much to do now, i will have to get the car fixed my self before tomorrow and see if i can pass the emission. From now on I'll try to stay at my grandfather house and get moving forward, possibly get a job until i graduate as a Mechanic and get in the NG.

My first car was a 1980 Datsun B210 my grandpa bought a month before i was born, in 1980. I was the 5th person to get it handed down to after everyone did a number on it. I spent 2 summers while in my junior and senior year high school, breaking it down, and rebuilding it back up in time for my 18th birthday, and the satisfaction of driving what i spent 2 and 1/2 yrs building, spend just about all the money i made and saved up on, is still the best experience and memories i can recall vividly. When our daughter needed a vehicle for getting to college and work, we didn’t give her one. She picked out which one she wanted by looking up cost, safety record, fuel efficiency, reliability, etc. We put down half on it with her being responsible for paying the other half. This helped not only to teach her responsibility, but it helped build her credit and she took care of it like it was her baby. She now has paid it off and owns it free and clear and has graduated from college debt free.

Sometimes when my dad had to work in the company yard my mom would work to make up the difference in income. I never expected anything from my parents and was ha]y for anything I did get. I started cutting grass at the age of 8 and by 10 I was cutting some of the neighbors grass. I worked for a local promoter till my late teens. In between school and that I took my first job at 15. I eventually bought my first car for $500 which I saved up. I drove it around a few years and eventually it was time to get rid of it. I was without a car for several months hitching rides from friends who I hung around with anyway. By this point in my life he knew I had good work ethic and would have made it without the help but the help made it easier. Starting out handing young adult things does not make them stronger. All my kids know if they are working hard whether that be at a career or on their education I am more than willing to help but handout’s are not going to happen. Not sure... An apple never falls far from its tree. If he was such a good dad, he wouldn't have raised a kid like that, probably paying back his absence with over the top toys gifts. Maybe it's just me, but this sounds pretty familiar.

It's a tiny video. Probably fake. But you have zero idea who this kid is, how he acts, what he does, his relationship with his parents. Nothing. The problem in society is people like you.

I've got a neighbor has a boy that's about 18 19 now ever since he's old enough to ride a side-by-side they had about him everything that he's wanted the only about it but didn't trade nothing is keeping everything for a keepsake. LOL sad he's never had to earn nothing screws up messes up breaks everything he gets the only thing I know of that they sold that they bought for him was 125 why is a dirt bike he couldn't handle the powerband and Mama sold it either way he's got us 1976 or 1977 F150 that was Immaculate when he got it don't know what they give for it

Message sent before I could finish going to say within 2 months or 3 months of having it he had to have it restored and I know the guy that went through the truck and it was fully restored no Bondo in it no no where it had a killer paint job all ready candy apple red it is a long wheel base lifted maybe 8 or 10 " rolling on 24" rims and 40 inch Thornbird tires and I don't think h it has ever seen the mud but when i had my 97 wrangler I didn't lock the mud either how much rather do the rock crawling . At least i took it to the local car showes pretty sure this truck's never seen a Auto Show since he's had it. Sadly his mother's had to set off land and built air B&B's to pay for it all they jus had to built another building to just keep. All his toys it and it sucks because his mom's air B&B,s the land out-of-town non-local yokels a lot of them have bought land from her brothers they inherited a larg track of land. And the only problem I have with this is this is the people does buying the land is moving in changing things and not for the good either. If I move somewhere it's going to be somewhere I like!!! And 1 of the 1st things I'm not going to go doing is start changing things And I'm going to try my best to get along with people that's lives there . The people that does move in definitely does not do the last thing try to get along with everybody... Sorry for the rant but God bless and take care.
