Try the Caruso Steam Rollers, they use steam to heat the rollers, and an ion technology to help soften and condition your hair. You can use the rollers everyday and they won't cause any breakage or heat damage to your hair.

Do I need heat protection before using the t3 luxe hot rollers and how do I know what heat settings I should use
@kait9588 жыл бұрын
quick question: I have naturally curly and pretty frizzy hair. would the rollers still work on me? or would I have to do it right out of the shower. I just like the look of these curls over mine because it's more put together and smooth rather than mine crazy frizzy kind of curl.
@ashInTheWoods7 жыл бұрын
Never use hot rollers on wet hair. The heat causes moisture in your hair to bubble up which leads to damage. You can compare it to over-inflating a balloon; it pops. The bubble expands until your hair shaft bursts and the damage is permanent. In general, hot rollers are not damage-free to begin with. Heat in any form still damages your hair. Hot rollers are safer if you keep the temp down, but they're still hot. That doesn't really answer your question though. If you have moderately curly hair that is fine, you can brush it out and this method will work, for the most part. If you have coarser or curlier hair, it probably won't provide great results. Some of your curl pattern will be retained and mildly flattened.

Thanks for the opportunity. My hair is at a weird length right now (growing it out from a bob) & my irons are just not cooperating. The only rollers I've ever tried were those late 80's-early 90's jellyfish looking ones you pop open/close..these would be a huge step up lol.

What is the trick to making curls stay in your hair all day with hot rollers? I have used hot rollers in the past with my hair and they don't last all day even with hair spray. Plus I end up having to leave the hot rollers in my hair for an hour before taking them out, otherwise, my hair doesn't curl.

Do they hurt when they are hanging off of your head? I'm not trying to be rude. I ask because I have some t3 hot rollers that I bought a few years ago and I find when they are curling my hair.. The weight of them hurts my head. And I let them hang just like you did here. I find that when I use them closer to my head they are too hot for my scalp. I also don't have thin hair either. Did you have this problem? You did a great job by the way
@Ellebangs8 жыл бұрын
+Susana Barrientos no i didn't experience that. In terms of the heat touching your scalp you have move them around until they feel comfortable and then clip them.. but definitely nothing I couldn't put up with. 😀 thanks for watching'

Hi Silvia, i was thinking about getting a round hair brush. I got one a few years ago but it got stuck in my hair and i'm a little bit scared to use a round brush again. I'm not sure if i should get a boar bristle or a metal/ceramic brush. I've heard that metal will heat up and damage the hair. I have quite dry hair and it's shoulder length. Which would you recommend getting?

My hair looks so great just after using the T3 rollers. Unfortunately, the gorgeous curl/wave/volume is gone in like 1/2 hour. Hoping if I try adding the dry shampoo like you did, it will help. Thanks. Also, any tips for using those clips? They go on super easy but they don’t secure the roller enough to stay securely against your head. I guess it’s because the rollers are so much heavier than no heat Velcro rollers. I see them flopping all over the top of your head, as well. Have you learned any tips since this vid to prevent that from happening and allow more of your hair to stay connected to the roller and also stay more securely connected against the scalp. I mean really, what’s the point of using heated rollers if half your hair isn’t even touching the heat on the roller? Am I right or am I missing something here. You’re the hairdresser, so you’d know better. Please enlighten ;) Thanks.

Your hair was definitely shinier with those! Would love to win. I'm a big fan of Velcro rollers but not very often because of the heat I use.
