These are verses of ancient Latvian folksongs. It is almost impossible to translate them because the language of folksongs is full of symbols and methafors (something very subtle and deep). In this song there are words of power (inner power). That you come into this world with inner wisdom and light and no one can harm you because your inner light is so bright and strong that no evil could get through. And there is light in all ways in all directions we go during our liftime and with God' s help we can get through anything. However there is a book where some part of Latvian folksongs have been translated in English. It is - Wit and Wisdom of Ancient Latvian Poetry by Ieva Auziņa Szentivanyi.
