The problem when you say “learn your jumpshot timing” is ppl have figured it out but each mode having a slightly different timing for jump shots is infuriating. BECAUSE we all feel as if we’ve learned the timing and know what feels like a green but it doesn’t green. I’m rocking nearly 50% from 3 but feel as if I should be having waaay more perfect releases.

2k wanna add a skill gap by making green window smaller but there’s no such thing has fully “mastering” your jumpshot because every damn game has a different delay. Theatre has different timing, rec has different timing, stage has different timing (feels the smoothest), park has different timing, pro am has different timing

Cant forget stamina either, with a 99 3 ball, your ratings will be way higher when your stamina bar is half full, compared to if you have a 85 3 ball your rating might drop to the 70’s

Release feels the most natural especially when it comes to different types of shots it’s very easy to find the flick of the wrist on each shot but for catch and shoot corner sitting builds push is prolly the best

The major difference between an 85 3 pt to a 95 3pt is the available jumpshot animations

imo having different percentages in the green window is the stupidest thing ever, honestly I wish they went back to no greens like 2k used to be and shot selection was more important, I see highly contested shots getting greened all the time like at least once or twice a game. Make defense and shot selection mean more.

Do not change your build. Get to the 90s on three ball and shooting. Every year you can shoot with low three ball. Do not fall for this and have to remake your build in a couple months when they without a doubt will patch it like they do every year

Nobody should be mad at the builds they made if they were aiming for the 90+ 3 point attributes. The badges are still op if you know how and when to shoot. Me personally I’ve never wanted a 90+ 3pt in any 2k that came out since you can make good-great shots with the 80+ attribute range in almost every 2k that came out.

@@youngmelo3717 well if you want to green late green window shots from longer distances… then a higher attribute would make more sense plus the access to higher shooting badges… If you want to be able to hit a 3 ball with some great consistency… then the mid 80s are definitely the sweet spot. Always felt that way since 2kwhenever after finding a decent jumper.
