Next time you go to Shipshewana, I'd love for you to come just 35 minutes South and visit Syracuse and our little thrift store. We even have a damaged ceramic tree for sale.There are a few fun vintage shops in our area also.

You might check into renting a uhaul if you plan to buy a lot. You can get a small truck for $20. Not sure what a trailer costs.

Ok that's it, I have to know, how do I find such/similiar auctions? I know that surely, somewhere in my area there has to be some hidden treasures about to be sent to or already at auction. But, how do I find said auctions? Where do I search, how do I search? I want to go to an auction!! Y'all find the doggone coolest stuff. I, on the other hand can never find anything except over-priced not so old remakes of things. So, c'mon, spill it lady, how about some how to's on searching for and finding auctions. Please!! These pieces are so amazingly awesome. I can envision them sitting, tucked away in an old barn or shop or garden center. That smaller piece you got reminds me of the seed cabinet at my local garden center, not like a Home Depot or Lowe's garden center but a local feed and seed, or seed and feed shop, you know, like a mom and pop place around the corner, I love those old places because they are filled with such homemade/handmade pieces. Great finds! xx

Auction Zip.. it’s an online search for auction. We just search what in the surrounding area that we would drive to. And usually there’s enticing pictures. That how we choose.

Have you checked the jadeite rooster with a black light? I probably would have just cleaned and waxed the larger cubby, but you did a great job of matching the color! The one with the cigar box drawers was cool. Whoever made that must have been handy! Nice finds! Hopefully they will sell quickly, so you will have to make another trip to Shipshewana!😂

Oh Yvonne… you matched that so perfect that when you did the first stroke of paint, I gasped ! WOW !!! Then the 2nd piece of ….be still my heart ! I think I blacked out when you were filming the RACK WITH ALL THE DOUGH BOWLS ON IT 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍. How I wish I had a huge house for one of those ! Oh my…oh my !!!! Did you know that ladies ( and some men) have live sales on Instagram ? I discovered them about 4 weeks ago! Sometimes there are 5 different sets of woman selling, so I’m in and out of different sales ! Makes me think of you at these Auctions with many going on at the same time! 👍oh my…. I said good-bye to Whatnot and now watching those ! Much more fun, NO BIDDING…they set the price and that is it. How I wish I lived near you, I would be FREE any day you wanted to go ! LOL!!!! For a hour n a half of driving you did very well. That one wooden cabinet that made out of cigar n cheese boxes was a real gem. I have one much smaller made out of cheese boxes. Yours reminds me as a apothecary. Definitely sweet! The other one was cool too n the zinc milk paint looked like the perfect color. Loved the pig on wheels. All the little goodies in the box was an envy from me. You always find the good stuff ❤. Looking forward what you’ll be doing with some of those goodies. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟🌟🌟

If you’re by yourself….keep a measurement of the back of your vehicle and carry a small measuring tape in your purse…I use a retractable sewing measuring tape, that way I know it’ll fit in my truck!
