Without mistakes Josh, how would we ever know we got things wrong, they are just part of learning, and anyone who says they never makes them, is either a liar or a fool! Like you, we always had a generator on the farm and luckily it never let us down, but two years ago at home and now being retired, I had a power cut for three days, and as you say it really makes you appreciate just how much you need electricity. Thanks

What would we do without electric now! The water being off was the biggest pain!

Don’t beat yourself up Josh, when we are tired we work on automation. I feel your pain but would have done the same.

Glad your milk was cool enough for collection, pitty to waste all that milk. I can just remember milk churns left at the end of fsrm lanes for collection. Wonder where temperature control was then. 😊😅😊

I'm in West Dorset also, we never had so much as a flicker and our supply is very unreliable. Didn't see any damage around us at all, thought we missed it all!

Our neighbours here were absolutely fine as they have a different supply in. Amazing how it effects some and not others
