No fear Michael Knight is here - Spanish Knight Rider @ Tenerife

Instead of driving around the Canary Islands Tenerife from the south to the north on a highway I decided to go over the Teide national park in the mountain area. When I reached the northern part of the mountains, close to Tenerife observatory, I've noticed a Knight Rider K.I.T.T. car replica parked at the parking space with a nice view.
I waited for them at the next view spot till the've drove by, played Knight Rider intro song and followed them for a while.
I was a bit surprised so I just took some photos and said: "well, that's a nice car you have" to the driver :) He was there with his family (I believe), so I didn't want to bother them too much.
Anyhow, this scene brought back some memories from my childhood when I was still a young science and technology enthusiast and car like that was quite a thing at the time. Once science fiction (self driving car) is nowday not far off reality. I still keep the Knight Rider intro song as my ringtone.
