If the UFC makes Tony vs GSP, I would be extremely confused. It doesn't make sense. GSP is supposedly only going to come back for one fight so it has to be a title fight, specifically one against Khabib who introduced the idea of fighting GSP in the first place (because GSP is his favorite MMA fighter). Tony has worked all this time for a title fight -- especially one versus Khabib. Why would he turn it down for a fight that would almost certainly make less money and not be for the LW strap? Khabib has blown through everybody the UFC puts in front of him and will continue to do so. He has to face true legends to complete his legacy which is what he wants. Tony and GSP are legends of the sport. Khabib vs Tony, and if Khabib wins he faces Tony. Anything else makes no sense Chael. So yes. It has to happen, and it will.
