I may have mentioned this on one of your other videos, so please excuse the duplicate, but Black hair grows in a curl. It lays the dandruff that occurs alongside it in the same curl. To release it, you must get the comb under a piece of the dandruff and gently move the comb in a circular pattern. It also helps if you approach dandruff from the opposite direction it lays down. That makes it easier to get under it & remove it. But combing straight back and forth several inches on Black hair to remove dandruff will break the dandruff into pieces, not remove all of it, break hair, & irritate the scalp. A comb's teeth are like little knives. They cut the scalp. The less injured a dandruff prone scalp is, the less it will react with more dandruff making material.

Kel, I know your arm has to be tired. I can’t believe CJ’s scalp is still producing flakes! The scratch before the haircut, after the cut, now this one and the flakes are nonstop! Unbelievable!!! I tend to stick with the ones I’ve been watching for awhile your awesome and your keeping it real l would say keep doing it the way you are if people don’t like the way you scratch then my advice to them is don’t watch there is no correct way to scratch its down to personal preference and most of us love your technique

The “playback screen” button is located top , right corner of the video. If you slow the playback speed to .25 you can really see the dandruff patches and how much more effective the circular motion is than the comb through method.

I am so excited. I didn't find this channel.... it found me!! I nvr thought to look for dandruff scratching eventhough i am a huge fan of pimple pooping & ear wax removal. I have the same dandruff problem. I have the same big flakes all the time. I have a chopstick at work to scratch with. I am a female and i rock a 'fro so the flakes tend to get caught in the curly coils so it truly is annoying but have dealt with it for many years and have tried many treatments. A few times i was able to get it sômewhat under control only to have it come back.
