I watched a freezer paper video and was hooked. I make journals and handmade books for painting. Loved the fabric fused to craft paper - this makes a journal cover more stable and easier to work with than gluing the fabric directly to the cover. Thanks for testing everything out first and telling me what isn't consistent. I sell my books so I do want the pages to have integrity.

I’m from Norman, Oklahoma and oops. I’ve just moved 14 miles North to Oklahoma City. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I ♥️♥️♥️ your tips and ideas and have successfully tried the freezer paper method and it is awesome!! I do want to ask where you get your napkins like the ones you used today. They are gorgeous and I’m not looking in the right places to find the patterns you use. Also, is there a way that those of us here in the USA could send freezer paper to someone who can’t get it where they live? I’d be more than happy to send someone a care package! ☺️

I find them at yard sales, Marshall’s, Home Goods, World Market, TJ Maxx, etc. Here is my tip for finding pretty napkins: typically, they are seasonal, so right now, in the spring, is the best time to find really pretty floral ones (which can be used all year round)😉 Also, Amazon always has lots of options 😊 You are so kind to offer to send freezer paper to those who need it! ❤ I actually looked into it, but the laws seem so complicated.. some countries do not allow to have it imported at all because it is classified as a single use plastic 😔 So I'm afraid I don't know enough to help with that. I just discovered your channel and subscribed! I started keeping a journal last year when my son had a near-fatal heart attack (the exact kind that took my only brother when he was about the same age) and it helped me work through the emotions - then I discovered Junk Journals, and I loved the idea that you can take actual junk and turn it into something not only useful, but beautiful! Thank you for the choices! The mod podge overnight method worked fantastically! I tried it with magazine print and it secured it perfectly with just 1 pass of the iron, and also took off the shiny magazine texture and made it more of a book page texture which is awesome...love it!

Hi, I'm from Australia and really enjoyed learning all the techniques in your video. The examples are beautiful. Freezer paper in Australia is purchased from Fabric Departments and can be bought by the metre or roll. Very cheap by metre. In Australia freezer paper available at Spotlight. Such a well done tutorial and I appreciate so much all your experiments so you can help all of us! I have tried the freezer paper and I do like that technique, but could only get it from Amazon. Not available in my local stores. I’m in Fort Myers, Florida. I will definite try the Mod Podge and the Heat & Bond techniques. I think the Heat & Bond might be the best solution for fabric journal covers so the glue doesn’t soak through the fabric when you’re placing it on the journal cover base. 😊

FabriTac and FabriFix do the job, but they smell terrible, and it’s frustrating getting a large amount out of the bottle 🤷🏻‍♀️ So it’s my new go to for fabric covers 😎

From Kentucky, USA. I have a lot of cereal bag liners and have used them before to make envelopes/wallets, but have not had much success. But, a couple did turn out ok, but I’m sure you could figure out a better way using cereal bags.❤

Hi Valeriya! I’m watching from Roy, Utah in the USA. We’ve got fresh snow outside and I don’t have freezer paper (it is available around here though). I don’t like to shop on the sabbath and don’t want to go out in this new snow either. So I’m so happy that I have all the other products you showed! Pennsylvania and I, too, had mixed results with plastic wrap. I never thought to use Heat "N Bond! I definitely will try that method. Of course, I have freezer paper in my house to freeze meat in. It does work well when fusing many types of paper. I enjoy watching your channel.

I have access to the freezer paper and love the way it adheres to the magazine paper. Also using my (DSP) designer series paper in making the "envelope" and tucking in a slim line card.
