You're welcome! I usually use a D/3.25mm with worsted weight yarn for amigurumi.

Hi! I would suggest doing a decrease using the last stitch of the chain and the first stitch of the leg, then put another stitch in that same first stitch.

By doing this aren't we adding 2 stitches and the count is 26 instead of 24? I don't understand the 2nd stitch you make in the same leg. Been trying and trying to do this. Someone please explain.

The first stitch joins 2 stitches (one from each leg) together, then the next is in the same stitch, but only in one of the legs. So it's kind of like decreasing but also increasing in the same stitches.
