Ya'll are being too harsh in the comments section. There is nothing wrong with protecting your hair under weaves. If she chooses to use weave or whatever to protect her natural hair, then that is what chooses. What she does with her hair should not and can not affect you... This video was actually amazing!

Thanks for your video. I have recently wanted to try different styles and to give my natural hair a break. At first I wondered how you were going to do the "quick weave" with no glue no sew. Now I see you meant no glue no sew to your natural, thus the use of the shower cap and wig cap. I feel I am now ready to try some styles.

I love how people are like "you said no glue and you used it". Seriously people? Think logically, she means no glue on your own hair. It's a different method of achieving the look you want without causing damage to your hair. Just be grateful that she's sharing with us and taking time to do it step-by-step. Great information and your personality is great. Just want to add that the scalp should be oiled and the hair loosened and combed out at least every 4 weeks to remove the shed so your hair doesn't mat. I had my 14 inch hair in a protective style and did not do these things, got 3 inches of new growth in 3 months but then my hair matted with the shedding hair at the back and I had to cut off 12 of my 17 inches...sad but glad that I now know what to do to get my hair to grow. This saves SO MUCH MONEY!!! You don't have to buy weave over and over.. I can just get some ziploc bags and save my little wiggies...name and label them.. Ok so I was looking for a way to protect my hair from the elements and to give myself a new look. Plus, I am also doing a waist length hair growth challenge for my daughters and my nieces. I want them to know long hair is definitely possible with natural curly or kinky hair. I want to thank you for sharing this ideal on KZbin. I'm so happy I don't have to pay someone who could possibly damage my hair with a sow in. Plus, it is definitely a quick and inexpensive way to change my look. I can' wait to try it. I have used this method for years but never used the top closure. Learned something new. I usually leave out a section of my natural hair and use that to cover the part. It looks natural and no one can tell when I have on a weave or my natural hair.

trust me girl it's not as hard as you think, I tried it last week (and recorded it) and I actually finished it in like an hour ! using a good amount of glue but not too too much is key !
