I remember singing this song with a choir while serving in the Air Force 30 years ago. We used this original version. I’m so sad that KZbin is the only way to hear now. It’s not available for download. More you could be Blessed. This song will forever be relevant and able to minister to hearts in a powerful way!

I have two copies of this album. The first was secured in 1986, the year this came out. I prefer this version over the GMWA recording. This was was done prior to that one too.

At Browns Chapel Ame Zion Church in 1986, on the choir a young lady name Corinca Douglas sung this sung with so much passion and we were still in high school at the time. Young people get back to church.

Thanks for posting this version of "No Greater Love" @Gospel Nostalgia! Sister Debbie Sloan is no longer present on earth's plane but her spirit and soul is still living and is felt via this recording. She was one of the most beautiful, talented, gifted, humble and compassionate young ladies to step to a microphone and deliver the "Good News" via song! Youth for Christ!!! Imagine over 200 teens from all over Dallas TX... In the mid 80’ we rehearsed for about 6 weeks and put on a musical. This was one of our songs! I wonder if they still have it?
