Gina, I do hate to horn in here, but I just had to butt in long enough to tell you one thing: I started watching the video before looking at the comments and when Jennifer said that she had instructions on her website but the manual is highly detailed and has all the information they will need, this was my thought: "Of course it is. It's Gina K. I'll bet the manual is detailed, informative and concise because she's thoroughly tested everything. I discovered you and Jennifer 12-15 yrs ago and you are both so relentless in your pursuit of excellence and yet still without equal when it comes to showing the utterly untalented among us how to make beautiful things. This new machine looks a lot like my We R memory keepers-Evolution Advanced. I got it at an online auction, it was never opened but it is an older die cut machine. All the info you showed me applies to my machine, down to the rubber mat it came with. Thanks, now I know how to better use it!

Yes the wrmk evo adv is identical to this one and I loved it and through two of them during a 4 yr span (had the electric motor attachment) but the internal gears for the adjustment dial locked and stayed locked in 1 position. The “A” plate was the best as you could die cut and emboss in one pass! I NEVER GOT WARPING ON ANY PLATES. But eventually got a Gemini junior which cuts great but I’ve always hated using “sandwiches” so maybe I will try this brand.

Now THIS new product is truly a game changer! All thickness adjustments built into the machine…no more complicated sandwiches, shims, plates, etc.to keep track of and store. Built-in storage, suction cups to hold the machine in place…and it works with other systems! Gina and her team really took their time and thought this through to pack in as many useful features as possible and to address some real pain points of die cutting machines.

Can anyone tell me the differences between Gina's machine and the Bira Craft machine on Amazon? They look identical to me and the price difference is stark ($90 for Bira vs $160 for Gina). The Bira machine has been out since 2015, and currently the only difference I can see is the color of the dials and handle. If I'm missing something obvious, please let me know! TYSM for sharing!

OMGOODNESS!!! I am in need of a new diecut machine. I have a 2006 Big Shot and the bottom is cracked. It still works but really looking for a new one.. About time. I have the magnet baseplate for the Big Shot, it will be hard to give that up. Any chance will a magnet plate be available for Gina K's? Or..... am I really old school? Love your video Jennifer. Or do you have to use the shim to get the good impression(holes) to make stitches (like embroidery). Thank you for sharing! great video ,Jen....I had bought we sre memory makers die cutting machine years back based on this same dial idea, I dint like it, cut the dies badly and I sent it back, your video proves they must have did some work on thaat basic idea!!! great ideas...not sure if ill go for it yet, since im still making payments on my gemini 2, but i like the size of the machine for glimmer press and letter press since I have both of them and the fuse... I really can't stand trying to find the right plates/thicknesses I need in which machine to emboss with dies or folders. I wonder if this is usable for hot foiling too? I think this is worthwhile to sit right next to my Empress, it's unique and solves and issue!

Looks just like my Sunlit, only mine bought some years ago has orange and I love it! I use it for so much creativity including prints. I even had an extra platform cut with the same thickness but longer: long, skinny prints! Love your channel! ❤

Looks like there are some improvements on the dial system from the original machine about 10 years ago. I could never get the correct pressure to die cut smoothly. I already have plenty of machines so i sure dont need this one. But good for those who need one!

A few months ago I purchased a Bira Craft machine on Amason that looks very similar to this Gina K machine. I'm really happy with it, and I'm even happier to have this video to show me the right way to use it. It embosses really nicely. I die cut just this morning for the first time and on one run through I goofed and had the sandwich wrong and cut into the platform. Yikes. At least it was only once and now I know there are a few ways to build the sandwich and get the correct side up.

That machine has many of the features of the Todo, but no where near as bulky - the major downfall of the Todo. My favorite part of the Todo was the adjustability - I began experimenting with making impressions from all sorts of things like leaves, twigs, burlap - anything with texture.

My only question is in the first shot I noticed you used your right hand to turn the handle and in every subsequent one you had it shot. It looks like it takes twice as many turns to get it through. Would this be right?

This is literally a replica of the Bira die cutting machine that's been around for the last three years. Bira is also much less expensive. $89 on Amazon and it comes with a beginner's kit. I'm surprised there's not some sort of copyright infringement happening with Gina's machine.

I own and use a Bira machine also but never had good results using it with my Glimmer Hot Foil System. Have you used your Bira with the Glimmer? I ended up buying a Platinum 8.5 but use the Bira for all 3D and 2D embossing and most die cutting projects.

Boy! I wish I had seen this before I purchased the Gemini Jr. I have a Cuddlebug as well. I have been so frustrated with die cutting and embossing with plates, shims, etc. with those 2 machines. It seems as if every single one of my dies and embossing folders require a different sandwich! I Have tried and tried. I've kept a notebook, but I have given up! I feel like I've wasted a lot of money! I've been so unhappy with the outcome and my frayed nerves trying to do this. I do have a Cricut machine and cut a lot of my card embellishments with that, but I want to do "proper" die cutting and embossing. I think this will be my next purchase. Thank you for the detailed video.

I bought the evolution by we r memory keepers 9 years ago this is very similar. You also have the choice to purchase a motorized handle so you dont have to crank it, if it is still available. I only used the machine 2 x

Just watched Gina….as you fold down the arms, LOCK IN the arms….it locks the bottom suction cups into place so it won’t slide on all work surfaces, not just a glass surface. I felt this was key in using the new machine correctly. Thank you for all the additional trials and learning curves you shared with us. What a truly versatile machine…and you figured out the details for us! Thank you 🙏 🥰 ❤️

When you fold out the arms that suctions the machine to whatever surface it’s on. You do not have to lock the supports in place for the suction to work. I don’t own this machine, but I watched Jennifer‘s video as well as a couple of others and they all said the same. No need to lock the sides in place. I suppose some may not work properly. It would be hard to understand if they were all three wrong.

Question at the end Jennifer. I had an early cricut (?) manual crank but got rid of it as I hadn’t really jumped into die cutting. Then I bought a Vagabond2! Love it still but it is on its last legs. I also had a manual crank fixed platform Sizzix but it just took up too much room. Do you know if this unit can handle Heartfelt Creations embossing molds? I am a late-comer to them but have fallen in love with the results. If it can, I’m gifting myself one!

I have some flower shaping molds from Heartfelt Creations - they are 5/8 of an inch thick - I wonder if I could run these thru the Intri-Cut - I have the Empress and they don’t fit in the opening - I have an older Cuttlebug that I use but they are hard to crank thru the machine
