No handle bar DIY electric scooter

basically they called it Speedboard, I wonder how to ride one, so I build it for myself.
motor 800w 48v
battery 36v 4Ah
controller 350w 36v/48v

Have you tried it with no front steering? The turn radius would obviously not be as good but wonder if it’s still doable for most street riding.

First I like the hub motor. That might be used to recharge the battery on idle or downhill riding and it’s much more silent ride than the chain driven „speedboard“. NEXT is to think about the front wheel.. main to change the stabilization spring in to a „pneumatic damper“ maybe even automatically adjustible with speed. How about a little gyroscope, which would be only active on low speeds to keep the board level?

That is very cool. If you added some damping to the front end steering, you should be able to steer easier without having to overcorrect every time.

Since you use flipsky controllers why not get one of the blue tooth remotes for the throttle n brake instead of a wired one, they are well worth it. They show current speed, distance traveled, how much battery left, predictable range left etc.

Dude, definitely switch it up, flip the wheels FR > RF. I think you’ll have more fun with a pivoting power wheel rather than that. Otherwise awesome build keep up the videos, they’re awesome!!

Interesting, but it has very weak construction of steering wheel. And no suspension. It become broken very quick after riding on non-flat surface.

Is that a real question or are you saying that like it's a bad thing? Either way you're totally ignorant to welding. SMAW is much more difficult to learn than MIG, is stronger than MIG, can be done outdoors in the wind and is the cheapest way to get into welding, hints why it's used so much in countries with less economic prosparity.
